I like to go jogging, to ease off a busy day and relax.
Most of the time I go through the discussions of the day once again and get new ideas for this blog.
Good but exhausting
There are also days on which I’m so exhausted at the end of the working day, that I don’t have any desire to go jogging. And this is although I know it would be good for my health and I even know that I would feel better afterwards, but I can’t pull myself together.
My weaker self whispers into my ear, that it’s to exhausting.
I don’t only run to get my head free. I also have set me a goal to lose a few pounds.
To achieve this goal, I’ll have to overcome these laziness and go jogging regularly. Only if I’m working steadily on me, I will achieve the desired results.
The shortcut towards my goal
But there is another way. I could make a radical diet and exercise excessively every day. In this way, I would quickly reach my desired weight. But would that be sustainable? Certainly not! The well-known yo-yo effect would diminish my success very quickly.
But it is the only way you will achieve the results that you have set for yourself in the long run.
